Such a great find. Really fresh food, great choices and very friendly staff. Friendly welcome, great choice, and good food. Try the specials board or ask staff to recommend something. Lovely bangers, sweet grilled tomatoes and good quality, all washed down with a good strong coffee!  Located in the local community center where there is also a medical clinic. The cafe draws people from all walks. From the employees at the community center and clinic to the patients and local residents, both wealthy and poor, to visitors and tourists. What most impressed you the owner/chef/cashier/server/etc who did it all! Watching her greet her patrons, new and old was inspirational. She greets them as if they are one big family (indeed many of them are). Chefs are a perfectionist when it comes to her food preparation and it is evident from the presentation of the food to the delicious flavors in every bite! Owner and his assistant, work tirelessly to make sure their customers experience a dining experience that is both memorable and unique. It is very refreshing to experience an eatery that is concerned for its community, patrons and visitors, first and foremost. They have also partnered with the community center to provide “Drop-In Cafe”. Thank you for a very meaningful and memorable dining experience!

All the dishes were presented on tableware to suit the dish , many with a touch of theatre........"sea mist" at your table would you believe! The menu keep on saying small portions. They are not. They are normal. A nice touch. The terrace is cosy. Inside is harsh modern contemporary. Beautiful food ( to taste as well as to the eye) the service is impeccable ,but at the same time relaxed . All the dishes are presented on tableware to suit the dish , many with a touch of theatre........"sea mist" at your table would you believe!  We travel the world for good food- if you are in Delhi and want to go fine dining, this is THE place to go. Impeccable, a true 3 star experience in terms of food and service! Even higher in terms of the food.
We all have eaten in wonderful restaurants all over the world. In particular, we have been in all the top places. To be honest, you cannot imagine how much you will  miss this restaurant once you have been there. Great place nice environment. This place is a gem, luckily for us it is next door. The staff is very friendly and the food is very delicious. It is located on a nice street of Satya Niketan. If you want an authentic experience I can definitely recommend everyone Chowringee. Amazing food in cozy atmosphere I really enjoyed this amazing and the meals of course. If you're in the area, check this gem of a place out !  The food is good, the team very helpful, a special thank to the manager ! We will definitely come back for sure. This cafe has very nice food and welcoming staff. You can have a breakfast here and you'll find it really amazing. The food is cooked to a very high standard and you'll enjoy it. I cleared the plate which is unusual for me as I am not usually a big eater. I will come back again to try something else shortly. All the people that work there are very friendly and make you feel at home even if its just for a coffee. My first impression was of how unpretentious the surrounding area is. Friendly atmosphere and affordable prices. The highly recommended place for everyone! Well the food was just great, No skimping on the ingredients here. I cook at home and I could not have done better. It was a post gym meet up with a friend and we left fully fed and hydrated. Great sausages and quality, free range eggs with creamy yolks and a real tea bag in a proper big cup, and a bottle of water on the table as standard. Friendly staff and a lovely light open area to sit. I'm going to make this a regular spot. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Worth a visit. The service is amazing and the attention to detail in all elements of the meal provide for an unforgettable experience. The setting seems a bit underwhelming but that feeling stopped at the door. Service is formal but friendly. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel relax. 

This is food as theatre. Beautifully presented, stimulating all senses. You can take the taster menu. Which meant that some courses were better than others. But so many courses through that delighted. And made you wish that all food could taste like this. The waiter brings raw whole pieces into the packages at the table and explains what the system looks like. Who works at the center is a good request. Great atmosphere, good service. It is really something special,very different. I would go again that is for sure ! A very special little place. Truly a wonderful variety of beautifully presented tasting dishes. Excellent attentive service and you will be particularly impressed with the substitute dish provided to offset a dish. A knowledgeable and helpful staff completed the outstanding overall experience. And the food...incredible. Creative, visually stunning at times, but always delicious. It's clear that always starts with wanting the food to taste great, then experiments with how to make it interesting. Few of the dishes overpowered with flavor- rather they were subtle but textured.
Portion size is good - enough for you to enjoy the course but not so much you were unable to have more.
The coffee is also very good. Not an inexpensive meal, but you will agree it is well worth it.

From the minute you will arrive till the time you leave, the service is extraordinary. The dining room is roomy and quite (conversation was easy), chairs etc comfy, and the view of the garden pleasant. And the food...incredible. Creative, visually stunning at times, but always delicious. It's clear that Chef always starts with wanting the food to taste great, then experiments with how to make it interesting. Few of the dishes overpowered with flavor- rather they were subtle but textured. Portion size was good - enough for you to enjoy the course but not so much you were unable to have more. Not an inexpensive meal, but we both agreed it was well worth it. If you ever have a chance to eat here, don't hesitate! The food is incredible and the service is attentive and faultless. Sitting on the lovely terrace as they bring out plate after plate of exquisite food is an amazing experience. But what takes your experience to the next level is the personal touch, which make you feel so well cared for. Not only did they honour us with a special plate handwritten.. It is incredible! The service is impeccable--I must never have felt so well-attended at any restaurant. Elegant space. Abundant professional staff, very helpful. Amazing dishes with wonderful presentation. The setting, the food, and the presentation were so different and special as to prevent the effect. It is interesting that while the presentations are equally spectacular, the individual ingredients remained more recognizable to the palate. Portions a bit larger on the tasting menu. The staff are brilliant in synchronizing my 13-dish tasting menu with my wife's three (and a bit) courses. We can say that Chowringhee is one of the inexpensive Restautant in Satya niketan , South Delhi . The tastes are sublime, the shakes offered are matched to an enquiry into our tastes and the calm progress of the meal out on the terrace with a gentle buzz of conversation is excellent. And to be able to shake the great chef's hand and pose for a photograph with him just topped off the whole thing. It was a real pleasure to eat at the table of a celebrated rather than a celebrity chef. Superb ingredients, imaginatively cooked, combined and presented and elegantly served made this an unforgettable afternoon.

Chowringhee Family Restaurant Satyaniketan has an Amazing food. Fantastic service. The shakes are all good. Even the cheapest. So you can opt  that and it will  excellent and best quality. Desserts to die for. The menu kept on saying small portions. They are not. They are normal and not star sized. Owner will comes out to talk to you. A nice touch. The terrace is cosy. Inside is harsh modern contemporary. You will be  lucky enough to eat at many high end restaurants.This is  the best dining experience you will ever  had. From being greeted at the door to the very end of 15 courses of beautiful food ( to taste as well as to the eye) the service will impeccable,but at the same time relaxed . All the dishes will be  presented on tableware to suit the dish , many with a touch of theatre........"sea mist" at your table would you believe! Nearly 5 hours are spent over lunch it felt neither tardy or at any point hurried. 

This will be  a very special dining experience. This is the place to go. Impeccable, a true 3 star experience in terms of food and service. Experience the best here! The service is superb, especiall staff who are one of the primary people taking care of us.

The charming owners have created a delightful  space at which we have sampled breakfast, with a wonderful array of delicious and surprising dishes, and first class coffee. Their supper club which is for about 15 people around a communal table delivers on every level. 4 delicious courses, with the freshest ingredients and some wonderful tastes and smells. So glad this place is in our area - we will be back.

Amazing, very fresh food. Unusually good coffee as well. The food was hot and rich. Not perfect but a cut about the other cafes around here. Beautiful decor, the owners are so polite and friendly and the food was fantastic! which is turkey sausage, potato and eggs. We will definitely be coming back when we visit again. I have found this place in a very stressful period of my life, while I was also very tired of all of the random coffee shops there. First time I entered Chowringee, it was simply because of its atmosphere and the very friendly manager. But then it became all about the high quality and perfect tasting foods and drinks they serve, specially the coffee. And now I just have to go back there every time I get the chance because all the things I need are gathered in one place: Clean, cosy, friendly people, nice area and amazing food. What a wonderful place with not only the best coffee ever but the most delicious food and friendly welcoming atmosphere. Such a fantastic little place, fabulously friendly people but not obtrusive and the decor is rustic and authentic, always something to look at. However, the food is simply exquisite - I have tried several dishes now that I had no idea what they were going to be and each time I have been delighted. I recommend everyone to go there. It seems to be family run and friendly. Prices are very good and the portion sizes are great. The service was quick and friendly, we were not rushed out even we overstayed the opening hours. We were very hungry, and were searching for a nice place to eat and celebrate Shweta's Birthday party , something that'll make our day and sure we get that much too. Chowringee is located in Satya Niketan and we find it attractive as the restaurant sell khati rolls too outside their restaurant.. We stopped there and decided to have a lunch at Chowringee. The very thing I liked about the Restaurant was the friendly staff and the organised tables. They offered us water immediately as we sat down.

 The food that we had was simply PURE heavenly paradise. The Khorma and the butter chicken were unbelievably tasty. It was one of the best chicken I've ever tasted. The coffees and the juices were of the highest quality. The service was excellent with wonderful staff. Overall it was an amazing lunch. If you are in the area and looking for somewhere to go to eat, give this place a go, you won't be disappointed. This was a most enjoyable day where my friends and I enjoyed delicious meal. The service was impeccable throughout. I would highly recommend everyone to take a visit at Chowringee. I hope you guys will find it aa amazing as I think it is. Now. I cannot stress enough how good this place is. I am yet to try everything on the menu. The atmosphere is lovely, all cultures sitting in close proximity, this often sparks a conversation, which is exciting, getting to know others. The coffee is also a must.

A few things to let you know is that they don't do bookings and as it is small it is lucky if you get a seat, it is worth the wait though. My favourite food and place ever.  100% recommend it to everyone. This is the beat place to have  best food.

We visited Chowringhee Family  restaurant for the second time. The food and service remain at a high standard. Staff was very accommodating, we found the staff to be very friendly, very polite, no issues at all. Our food came out in good time, in the right order in regards starters and mains, and was mostly all fantastic. A great little place in a lovely location. We cycled around the neighborhood, then spotted this restaurant. I liked its cute name, Very Good, and happy guests sitting inside were a good sign of a reliable restaurant. It is a good restaurant with good food provided. We definitely will come back. A good choice of food and drink. If you want to eat here on a Saturday evening you need to book to avoid being disappointed - its very popular. They are open from 11am. The portions are huge. The price is very reasonable. Well worth a visit. The food was a good size serving it could be split for two with an app. Clean and tidy with a good choice of menu this is consistantly a good place to eat and good value. I think no matter what you have it will be fresh and tasty. The food is excellent, the service is spot on and its very cheap. Would highly recommend.

The clue to its success was just how busy it was compared to others in the area, but this was not an issue due to the efficiency of the friendly staff. The place has always got people sitting down so you know that the food is good and fresh! Staff are very friendly too. We had the fried rice, Chicken & Cashews, spring rolls and chicken green curry. Oh and lots of Mojitos!! :) I wish I could eat here every night! Great food and service with a friendly welcome. All types of food available and cooked fresh.

Upstairs, up a narrow, spiral staircase is a mini gallery, craft and unusual foodstuffs. The owner, is very hospitable and cooks according to what seems good on the day. Prices are cheap, and you will enjoy every single morsel and every drop of what you will eat and drink. And the cafe's location is also very good. It's a great place to meet friends after the hustle and bustle of street or to take a lucky visitor. You will enjoy a complex dish with butternut squash. Don't be put off if the front door doesn't open - it just sticks! Don't worry about the menu prices - they are there somewhere. I thoroughly recommend. You will certainly intend to return. The lunch are freshly made and taste fantastic and the same can absolutely be said for the dinner menu. The staff are all exceedingly friendly and the cafe has a really home-away-from home atmosphere. It's absolutely worth a visit.... The food is excelent and has a great variety. The customer service is excellent!!! I love the decoration and the very friendly environment. A charming independent cafe serving excellent coffee and tea.
